Rufford Park Golf and Country Club is a unique venue located at Rufford Lane, Rufford, Newark, Nottinghamshire, in the heart of Sherwood Forest, just 20 minutes outside Mansfield town centre and easily accessed via the A61.    

This stunning 18 hole Par 70 (6368 yards) parkland course is set in over 200 acres of beautiful woodland making it one of the most memorable Nottinghamshire golf clubs in the area.  

During your round you will be spoilt by the spectacular views of the Rufford Lakes and Abbey within the famous Sherwood Forest and will be joined by a variety of wildlife roaming around the golf club.  

The course has been carefully designed to complement the naturally undulating parkland landscape. It has had extensive input from architects such as Donald Steel and Associates and the current design consultants are the company led by Ken Brown, the BBC commentator & former Ryder Cup player.  

This 'Resort' style golf course has been designed and constructed to the highest standard, providing a challenge to golfers of every level, without the potential intimidation of a championship course.  

Additionally, this course been constructed on a free draining sandy base providing quality playing surfaces throughout the year when other courses are shut within the area, making this course a popular destination for the Nottinghamshire golfer, with over 45,000 rounds played per year.
