Harrogate Golf Club is an impressive 18-hole golf course located in the stunning North Yorkshire countryside near the picturesque town of Harrogate. The club was founded in 1901 and has established itself as one of the most prestigious golf clubs in the area.
The Golf Club have recently heavily invested over half a million pounds in re-development of the course and with their convenient location and excellent course design, Harrogate Golf Club is the ideal place to enjoy a round of golf for any level of golfer.
The Harrogate Golf Club and its History
Harrogate Golf Course is a championship-level Parkland course, laid out over gently undulating wooded terrain. Its tree lined fairways are routed in two returning circuits of nine holes that contain Mackenzie style greens and their fair share of carefully positioned bunkers and is perfect for golfers of all levels.
Harrogate Golf Course has hosted many county and regional amateur events and was the venue for the Yorkshire Union of Golf Clubs Centenary Championship in 1989.
The Club is proud to be a member of the MacKenzie Society being a course originally designed by the great Alister MacKenzie and is where European Tour star, John Parry played his junior golf.
The Harrogate Course Layout
The golf course measures 6,211 yards from the white tees and is predominantly a parkland course with some heathland features. You can Immerse yourself in the breathtaking surroundings as you navigate through the beautifully manicured tight fairways, well-maintained greens, strategically placed bunkers, and undulating greens.
The course is also decorated with twenty-three ponds and ditches and an impressive natural village green which gives the course an old-world charm. With five testing par 3s and a back nine that concludes with a very strong finishing stretch of testing par fours, provide an enjoyable challenge for all standards of ability

Harrogate Golf Club has a variety of green fees available for golfers. Prices range from weekend, weekday to twilight. Prices start from £50 to £60 per person per round. For those who struggle to walk the course, the golf club offer buggies and trolley hire from March to October.
